We’re really excited to be working on this new digital project that will help young pregnant women aged 16-24 in the North West to quit smoking. Following a competitive tender, we’ve been chosen to create this new website for Lancashire County Council and their partners Cumbria County Council, Blackburn with Darwen Council and the NHS.
Our original ideas promote the health benefits of quitting smoking for mothers and their unborn babies while also highlighting the financial savings that can be made. Through this website we aim to help to change people’s attitudes to smoking while pregnant and inspire more pregnant mothers to access local stop smoking support services.
Designed to appeal to our target audience and work responsively on any device, the website will provide vital health information, put young mothers in control of quitting smoking and bust the myths of what stop smoking sessions are really like. We’ll also make the site easy to share on social media and enable people to invite their friends to take part in interactive activities.
“We’re delighted to have won this major project that will help to improve the health of young mothers and babies in the North West. Working with Lancashire County Council, we’ve got some great interactive features planned to make the website engaging and informative.”
