Bolton Council recently obtained funding to redevelop their historic market and approached us to develop a new brand for the relaunch. They had an urgent need to develop new marketing materials in order to attract new traders ready for the launch, maintain the profile of the market during the works and in particular to communicate with potential new audiences.

The market is a key component of Bolton’s visitor economy. It has a strong reputation and they wanted the brand and activity to build on this by developing and enhancing the brand of this valuable economic asset. The brand identity we developed featured the illustrations of a local artist and was readily adaptable across various media formats, both online and offline. Some of the materials produced included a promotional pack aimed at new traders, outdoor media, signage, direct mail, web activity and press advertising.
